General information, not advice

Everything on Water Pages is general information about domestic water in the UK. It is not advice about a particular household, account, bill or dispute. Water supply is regulated regionally and the rules, tariffs and allowances differ between companies, so a figure or a rule that applies in one area may not apply in another.

The supplier is the authority on an account

Water Pages cannot see, access or change anybody's water account. Anything account-specific — a reading, a tariff, an allowance, a leak allowance claim, a switch to or from a meter — is settled by the supplier, and it is worth having in writing.

Sourcing and accuracy

Where a figure is published it carries its source and the date it was read. Sources change, and a page that was accurate when written can go out of date. Anyone acting on a figure here should check it against the linked source.

Commercial links

Some outbound links may earn Water Pages a commission. Where that is the case the page carrying the link says so. No water company pays to appear on this site and no placement is for sale.

External sites

Water Pages links to regulators, suppliers and public data sources. It is not responsible for the content of any site it links to.
